STERLING HEIGHTS HIGH SCHOOL: 12
The Lady Rams varsity softball team moved up to 2-1 in the MAC Gold and 6-2 overall behind tremendous team hitting resulting in a 22-12 win over Sterling Hts. Madalynn Peace hit a two run homer to left center & doubled in three. Kayla Maciag, , Lexi Gross and Jensyn Shaw had multiple doubles and RBI's and Kristina Najor, Ashley McKigney,Lainey Abbott, Haley Johnson and Caitlyn Hill also contributed singles and RBI's. Haley Johnson earned the win and Madalynn Peace got the save. Junior third baseman Danielle Erickson blasted a three run homer to left field in the loss for Sterling Hts.
