Lamphere High School went 1-1 on the opening duel meet of the season against Pontiac & Birmingham Groves. Lamphere defeated Pontiac 60-11, then lost a close duel meet against Groves 36-48.
Christian Simmons, Anthony Nguyen, Nico Johnson, and Trent Jackson were stand out wrestlers all going 2-0 on the night.
