BISHOP FOLEY HIGH SCHOOL: 24
Despite a 2-0 lead after one inning the Lady Rams went on to a mercy defeat at the hands of Bishop Foley. In the bottom of the 1st, Lamphere had a single by senior Ashley McKigney that knocked in two runs. Freshman Lainey Abbott and Freshman Kristina Najor had each reached base on walks to score. Senior Jensyn Shaw got a single in the final inning.
Bishop Foley was lead by pitcher Brooke Imrick had a grand slam and 4 RBI's. Olivia Green went 3 for 3 with three RBI's and Kayla Moore & Melanie Moore each had two hits and three RBI's and Mallory Johnson doubled in two runs. Bishop Foley is 1-0 and Lamphere is 0-1 in the 2019 opener for both.
