Lincoln Quad Meet II Summary:
The Page wrestlers competed in their second Quad meet at Lincoln. Other schools are only scheduling matches that they feel they can win. With only wrestling the best wrestlers, the Panthers won 4 matches while losing 7 matches.
Dillan Johns wrestled three extremely tough matches winning one match and losing two.
Jayse Nagy easily defeated his opponent 8 - 0.
Trent Jackson defeated both his opponents by pins.
Robert Guzynski, Aeryn Lang and Connor Boccaccio wrestled some very good matches without getting a win.

Page Chatterton Invitational Summary:
The Page wrestlers competed in the Chatterton Invitational tournament on Saturday taking home two silver and one bronze medals. The tournament included wrestlers from 23 teams. The Panthers won 10 matches while losing 9 matches.
Robert Guzynski wrestled extremely well finishing in third place.
Jayse Nagy’s undefeated season ended losing in the finals to a two-time state champ from Romeo.
Trent Jackson’s undefeated season also ended losing in the finals to an undefeated Van Dyke wrestler.
Dillan Johns continued wrestling good winning 2 matches while losing 1 match. Unfortunately a mistake in recording one of his wins excluded him from wrestling in the semi-finals.
Both Aeryn Lang and Connor Boccaccio wrestled some very tough matches without getting a win.
Page Middle School Wrestling vs. Wolf Middle School

Page Dual Meet with Wolf Middle School Summary:
The Page wrestlers had a very good meet against Wolf Middle School. The Wolf team was very strong in their upper weights, but Page only has one wrestler in the heavier weight classes. The Pathers won 5 matches while losing 1 match.
Dillan Johns had his best two matches of the season in front of the home team crowd. He pinned his first opponent in the second period after leading 8 to 0. He also pinned his second opponent in the second period.
Trent Jackson and Jayse Nagy remained undefeated. Trent won a very tough match late in the first overtime period scoring a takedown with only seconds left on the clock. Jayse pinned his only opponent in the first period after scoring 5 takedowns in less than a minute.
Robert Guzynski got his first win of the season pinning his first opponent in a very close match.
Aeryn Lang did not wrestle because of a shoulder injury and Connor Boccaccio could not wrestle because of an illness

Lincoln Quad Meet Summary:
The Panther wrestling team performed well in a very tough Quad meet at Lincoln. The team won 4 matches while losing 6 matches.
Trent Jackson and Jayse Nagy remained undefeated. Trent won both his matches by pins. Jayse pinned his first opponent and then won by tech fall by a score of 17 to 0 against his second opponent.
Although Dillan Johns, Aeryn Lang and Connor Boccaccio did not get wins, all three wrestled really well against some extremely good opponents.

Kelly Dual Meet Summary:
The 6 wrestler Page team competed against the 3 wrestler Kelly team. Unfortunately, the Kelly team did not have any light or heavy weight wrestlers. With two of our very good wrestlers not having matches, we still were able to win 4 matches while losing 5 matches.
Jayse Nagy continued his undefeated season by pinning both of his opponents. His overall record is 9 – 0 all by pins.
Dillan Johns won two very hard fought matches. His first match he won in the final seconds with a reversal and then pinned his other opponent in the last minute of the third period.
Aeryn Lang and Connor Boccaccio both wrestled hard given excellent effort in their losses.

Chatterton Home Dual Meet Summary:
The Page wrestlers performed well against a very good Chatterton wrestling team. Overall we won 6 matches and lost 7 matches.
Jayse Nagy continued his undefeated season by pinning all three of his opponents. His overall record is 7 – 0.
Trent Jackson stayed undefeated by pinning his opponent in his only match improving his record to 5 – 0.
Dillan Johns won two matches by pins and Aeryn Lang got her second win of the season by pinning her opponent at the 1:00 minute mark of the first period.
Connor Boccaccio continues to improve in every match and shows excellent determination for a first year wrestler.

Chatterton Quad Meet Summary:
The wrestling team improved their performance at the Chatterton Quad meet. Competing against wrestlers from Chatterton, Clawson and Lincoln Middle Schools, the team won 7 matches and lost 4 matches.
The standouts at the meet were Dillan Johns, Jayse Nagy and Trenton Jackson!
Dillion pinned his first opponent at 1:00 minute of the first period and pinned his second opponent at the 1:30 minute of the second period.
Jayse beat an exceptionally good opponent 8 to 0 in his first bout and pinned a very tough second opponent at 1:00 minute of the third period.
Trenton Jackson pinned his first opponent at 1:15 minute of the first period and pinned his second opponent in the first period.
Aeryn Lang got her first win of the season pinning her opponent in the third period.
Connor Boccaccio continued to improve as first season wrestler.

The wrestling team had a solid performance at the Jefferson Quad Meet. Competing against wrestlers from Jefferson, Clawson and Lincoln Middle Schools, the team won 5 matches and lost 7 matches.
Standouts were Jayse Nagy and Trenton Jackson! Jayse pinned his first opponent at 1:15 of the first period and pinned his second opponent at 0:30 of the first period.
Trenton Jackson pinned his first opponent at 1:10 of the first period and pinned his second opponent at 0:45 of the first period.
Dillan Johns pinned his first opponent at 1:00 in the third period.
Robert Guzynski, Aeryn Lang and Connor Boccaccio performed well in their matches.
